New US trade law brings support to Mauritius and Laos

22 November 2004 - The US Senate Friday approved the so-called Miscellaneous Trade Bill that offers duty-free access to Mauritian apparel whatever the textile materials. The bill will also impose country-of-origin labels on imported socks while granting MFN tariff to Laotian products and extending tariff reductions for imports of certain wool fabrics.
