Why Production May Return to Americas
1 December 2011 - There will be a gradual return of manufacturing to the US over the next five years, according to a report by the Boston Consulting Group. Textile and apparel production will probably not come back to the US, but regional sourcing from Mexico and Central America could be boosted by the surge in Chinese costs.
