Wool prices have further declined in A$ terms in Australia, due to a new increase of the Aussie currency. Wool prices have declined for the second consecutive week in Australia, with the benchmark indicator losing 24 Aussie cents to 1,217 cents.
The EMI has now reached a 6-month low in A$ terms.
The lack of demand this week was mostly due to a new rise of the Australian dollar now reaching 78 cents.
In US$ terms or in euro terms, wool prices very slightly declined as a result.
