US Apparel Imports in Full 2016: China vs. Rest of World (Statistical Report)

17 February 2017 - US apparel import from China have declined in volume terms in 2016 although unit prices have sharply dropped with different trends being however observed depending on apparel categories, as reflected by our tables. The share of other nations has increased in volume and value terms, as a clear sign that US buyers have diversified their supply sources. This is reflected by our statistical review comparing US apparel imports from China with shipments from Rest of the World (RoW) for every category of products, in volume, value and unit value terms. Historical data are available for the past five years, 2011-2016.
