6 March 2017 - European clothing import markets have stopped falling in volume terms in full 2016, with shipments to Germany and France stagnating whereas Spanish imports were further soaring. Average unit prices have dropped in dollar terms, especially for shipments to the U.K. where imports are being depressed by the lower value of the Sterling. Our 5-year data from fourth quarter 2011 reflect long-term trends of European Union clothing markets, offering a comprehensive review of the European Union imports per destination.
