Yarn Prices Comparison: China vs India and Pakistan (New Weekly Report)

19 April 2018 - Spun polyester prices are now climbing in China, in line with the current recovery of polyester staple fiber prices whereas 100% polyester prices have already surged 10% in the last three months in Pakistan. By contrast, spun viscose prices have begun dropping in China, after VSF prices have eventually declined. 100% viscose had previously surged in Pakistan. Cotton yarn prices could stay everywhere at their currently high levels. 17 April 2018 - Demand for yarns remains unusually weak in China, in line with the fall of textile dyeing and printing capacities after new environmental rules have been recently implemented. Our weekly report covers the China yarn domestic and import market indicators, as well as local market prices in Qianqing and Shaoxing (Zhejiang). Prices of a large number of counts are released for spun cotton, polyester, viscose and blends. Import prices are also available for yarns from India, Indonesia, Pakistan, and Vietnam. Bangladesh Yarn Prices: Domestic Markets (Monthly Report)

12 April 2018 - Yarn prices have not really changed in the past four weeks in Bangladesh, despite a sharp volatility of cotton prices on the New York market. Cotton yarn production continues surging in the country, as reflected by the new jump of cotton imports this season.
