EU Clothing Imports in 4th Quarter and Full 2016: Origins (Statistical Report)

22 February 2017 - EU's clothing imports have continued significantly rising in the fourth quarter from the relatively low level of 2015. Bangladeshi shipments have further surged whereas China was losing ground whatever the sharp fall of its unit prices. Cambodia, Pakistan and Myanmar have continued emerging, as reflected by our comprehensive review covering the 4th quarter and full 2006 per origin. EU Clothing Imports in 2nd Quarter and 1st Half 2016: Origins (Statistical Report)

30 August 2016 - EU's clothing imports have rebounded in the second quarter in volume terms from China and a series of Asian countries, reflecting a recovery of the market after the euro has bottomed out against the dollar. Unit prices have also fallen in both dollar and euro terms, although still higher than five year earlier in euro terms and far lower in dollar terms.
