22 February 2018 - Viscose prices were Thursday staying frozen in China, as market participants were very slowly returning from holidays. VSF prices have not yet moved in Pakistan whereas they have been recently raised in India. Our weekly report covers the viscose/rayon staple fiber and filament markets over the last 12 months. Polyester Fiber and Filament Yarn Prices (Weekly Report)

21 February 2018 - PSF prices have been stabilized in the last week by Chinese holidays. Polyester prices have more sharply increased in the past 12 months in Pakistan than in China, due to the sharp rise of the renminbi in Pak rupee terms allowing domestic producers to significantly raise their prices. Our weekly report covers the Polyester Staple Fiber (PSF) on the domestic markets in China, India, and Pakistan. Polyester filament prices in China are also released, whereas the report also include a price comparison of polyester with cotton and viscose in China, and of polyester staple fibers with intermediate prices. 21 February 2018 - Cotton fiber and yarn prices are staying firm in India, where the cotton output could be much lower this season than initially anticipated. Spun polyester and spun viscose prices have even been slightly raised in the last seven days. Our review of Indian yarn prices covers the domestic and export markets, including carded and combed cotton, poly-cotton, poly-viscose, 100% polyester and 100% viscose. 20 February 2018 - Yarn prices have remained fully frozen in the last days before spring holidays in China. Long-term trends should continue after the break, with cotton yarns, spun polyester and spun viscose moving into different directions. Our weekly report covers the China yarn domestic and import market indicators, as well as local market prices in Qianqing (Zhejiang). E.U. Clothing Imports: Latest and Long-Term Trends (Monthly Report)

20 February 2018 - EU's clothing imports have declined in December in volume terms, although unit prices have plunged in euro terms. Export prices are now sharply rising in low-income countries in dollar terms. Chinese exporters are forced significantly raising their prices which were falling a year earlier, by contrast, and they are losing market shares as a consequence. Our report covers monthly EU clothing import data, with historical trends being analyzed, and a specific focus on China vs Rest of World (RoW) and Bangladesh, and on knit vs woven clothing.
