3 September 2010 - Italy is back on the Australian wool market with prices of fine and super fine fibers this week surging in Newcastle, as a result. Wool prices are not expected dropping this season.
13 August 2010 - Wool prices strongly rose in US$ terms, following a 3-week break in Australia. This is due to a sharp increase in the Australian dollar during the market holidays.
16 July 2010 - Wool prices further fell in Australia this week, as a result of a stronger Australian dollar and also due to the high level in offered quantities.
9 July 2010 - Wool prices declined this week in Australia, with market being pressured by large quantities on offer. There is still one week ahead before the summer break.
2 July 2010 - Wool prices finished the 2009-2010 season on a downward trend, in US$ terms. They however jumped by 23%, from a year earlier.
