23 May 2019 - Cotton and polyester fiber rices have tumbled in China, with spinners being forced lowering their price offers for a very wide range of their products. In Pakistan by contrast, cotton yarn prices have been raised while they were eventually lowered in India. Polyester fiber and spun yarn markets could resist downward market trends in India and Pakistan. US Apparel Imports in 1st Quarter 2019: Categories (Statistical Report)

23 May 2019 - US cotton apparel imports have been stronger in the first quarter, whatever a more significant rise of unit prices. Imports of man-made fiber apparel have less clearly increased than in last quarter 2018, however still at a higher pace than cotton apparel imports. Wool apparel imports have sharply dropped in volume terms, by contrast, as reflected by our detailed analysis of US apparel imports per category.
