US Apparel Imports from Hong Kong in 2006 (Country Report)

14 March 2007 - US imports from Hong Kong continued strongly declining in 2006 with shipments increasingly focusing on categories where the US reimposed quotas on China's products. Where quotas were removed, by contrast, Hong Kong's shipments dramatically fell. The re-export business may be expected disappearing after the full removal of US quotas, as a consequence.
