Egypt Clothing Exports Partly Resisting Domestic Crisis (Country Report)

4 April 2013 - Egyptian clothing exports are depressed by poor economic environment at home, with a surge of financial and insurance costs. These difficulties are however partly offset by the sharp fall of the lira and the duty-free access to US market for qualifying exports. Our statistical tables provide a detailed view of US and EU clothing imports from Egypt per product category in last years. Comparison tables of inflation and currency trends in rival countries are also available.
