EU Clothing Imports in 2nd Quarter and 1st Half 2017: Categories (Quarterly Report)

12 September 2017 - EU clothing imports have declined in many product categories in the second quarter and the first half this year, due to a weaker fall or even a rise in unit prices. Buyers have found limits in reducing prices, although the current rebound of the euro could now reduce prices and consecutively boost imports in volume terms. Statistical tables are published with volume, value and unit value changes in euro and US$ terms, covering 61 and 62 HS chapters (knit and woven clothing). The full table is also available for download with historical data from first quarter 2012.
