Cotton Prices on International and Domestic Markets (Weekly Report)

12 November 2018 - Cotton prices have remained relatively firm this week on international and domestic markets, with pessimism however prevailing after the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) has confirmed that cotton consumption could eventually be lower than expected this season. Production levels have also been overestimated, especially in Pakistan where prices are further rising as a result. Our weekly cotton report covers the international futures market in New York and China, and the physical indicator "A Index". Domestic cotton prices in China, India and Pakistan are also reviewed through a large number of tables and charts. All data are available for download.
