Wool Prices in Australia (Weekly Report)

15 February 2019 - Wool prices have remained very strong in Australia as buyers anticipate a new fall of available quantities in the remainder of the season. Volumes exported by Australia have sharply declined in the last 10 years, as reflected by our comprehensive data covering 2008 to 2018. Exports have however risen in US$ terms, due to the surge of prices, especially in the last two years. Our report delivers a comprehensive view of wool prices in Australia, with a long list of micron types in A$, US$ and euro terms. Historical charts are also available, such as downloadable historical data. Links to weekly market reports in New Zealand and South Africa are provided.
