E.U. Clothing Imports: Latest and Long-Term Trends (Monthly Report)

25 February 2019 - EU's clothing imports have remained flat in December in volume terms, whereas unit values were rising in euro terms and falling in US$ terms. China has lost significant market shares in the past year, being now unable to control the rise of its unit prices whereas Bangladeshi shipments were surging in volume terms. Our report covers monthly EU clothing import data, with historical trends being analyzed, and a specific focus on China vs Rest of World (RoW) and Bangladesh, and on knit vs woven clothing. Data are supplied in euro and in US dollars with historical data available for download, back to January 2000.
